This group has been formed to represent the rapidly growing Azure community in Queensland, aimed at providing a place for us to meet, learn, discuss and discover the amazing Windows Azure platform. The meetings are scheduled on the 2nd Wednesday evening (6-8pm) of every month, and will be held at Microsoft’s Brisbane offices (Level 28, 400 George St). Most meetings will have a mix of shorter TekTip sessions and longer deep-dive technical sessions, allowing us to regularly deep dive on the Windows Azure platform. |

The Queensland ALM Users Group (QALMUG) is a non-profit association of people who are interested in Application Lifecycle Management and Microsoft Visual Studio and its associated products, technologies and practices. We aim to gather once a month where we typically have a top notch speaker which may include international speakers, INETA speakers, or even local talent, of which there is an incredible amount. We have a chance to socialize over a free breakfast and drinks provided by our sponsors. Our sponsors have also been known to help out with some great prizes too. |

| We are a bunch of dedicated and enthusiastic SharePoint folk, ranging in skills sets and job roles – from developers, infrastructure, power users, business folk, designers – and the list goes on.
We encourage all people to come along and participate – the presentations we have are fairly informal, and allow for audience participation (Q&A) – and you might even want to do a presentation yourself.
Committee >
The MSPUG meetings don’t happen by magic, we have a few tasks to co-ordinate for each monthly meeting.
The tasks include : arranging speakers & presenters, edit & send the newsletter, organising catering & “MC” for the meeting (on the night).
We invite all user group members to assist and be involved, for presentations – or simply to MC for the night – or to create the editorial and mail-out.
This is a team effort – we need YOUR help…
:-)
The current committee members (and Twitter contact name/s) are :
◾Chris O’Connor – @GrumpyWookie
◾Elaine van Bergen – @laneyvb
◾Tim Wragg – @TimWragg
Once again, we welcome all UG members to get involved – and put the “U” in user group.
Sponsors >
And – of course – thanks to our sponsors – without whom, MSPUG wouldn’t happen at all. |
